BUA has a wealth of experience in the housing field, having designed projects for housing associations, local Councils and building companies. The largest project was the renovation of 500 council homes for Basingstoke Council.
Barry Urquhart has recently developed a timber framed modular housing system which allows houses and flats to be built from a combination of only seven different panels. The system has been patented and he hopes this may be the answer to the current shortage of high quality, low cost housing in inner cities.
